Product Warranty Policy

At TechShed, we are committed to supplying quality products from trusted manufacturers. Many of our products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty in addition to your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

Manufacturer's Warranty

Most products sold by TechShed include a manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period varies depending on the product and manufacturer.

Warranty information, where applicable, is provided on the product page, product packaging, or in the manufacturer's documentation.

Warranty Coverage

The warranty generally covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal use within the applicable warranty period.

If a product is found to be defective under warranty, it may be repaired, replaced, or refunded, depending on the manufacturer's assessment and applicable South African consumer protection laws.

What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

• Accidental damage

• Improper installation or use

• Misuse, abuse, or neglect

• Unauthorized repairs or modifications

• Power surges, water damage, or fire

• Normal wear and tear

• Failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions

Consumable items such as ink cartridges, toner cartridges, batteries, and similar products may have limited or no warranty unless defective on delivery.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, please contact TechShed with:

• Your order number or proof of purchase

• A description of the fault

• Photographs or videos, where applicable

• The product's serial number, if available

The product may need to be returned for inspection before a warranty claim can be approved.

Inspection and Assessment

All returned products are inspected to determine whether the fault is covered by the warranty.

If the inspection shows that the fault resulted from misuse, accidental damage, or another exclusion listed in this policy, the warranty claim may be declined.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

Where applicable, customers are entitled to the protections and remedies provided by South African law.
